Speak for Fiji – A night of Pasifika poetry, music, dance, art and food

Earlier this month Fiji was severely flooded claiming six lives. Many of the communities affected had only just recovered from raging floodwaters earlier this year.

15,000 were affected people by the floods and had to move to evacuation centres and temporary shelters in their communities.

Power and water supplies were damaged, affecting up to 150,000 people throught out the main island Viti Levu. Infrustructures such as roads and bridges were also damanged.

In Auckland, Niu Navigations presents a night uniting Pasifika voices and movements for our families in Fiji.
